Enhancement in Service Tax from 10.3% to 12.36%

As per the Budget-2012 proposal, existing service tax of 10.3% is revised to 12.36% for both prepaid and postpaid services from today(1-4-2012) in  BSNL.

If you top-up your mobile for Rs.100, now you will get Rs.89.00 talk-time as opposed to Rs.90.66.

Postpaid customers will get their bill in May with increased service tax with effective from 1st April.
